Green Program
The Sacramento Convention Center Complex, along with our partners Classique Catering and the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau, are proud to provide responsible environmental practices through the use of recycled products and on-site recycling programs. In addition, since 2006 we have been certified by Sacramento Municipal Utilities District (SMUD) in their Green Energy program. We realize the importance of renewable energy to protect the environment and offset electricity used to host events with Green-e certified renewable energy. This commitment to clean, renewable energy helps protect the environment from harmful emissions associated with fossil fuel-based energy and helps build a sustainable energy future.
